Back from Celebrate Santa

Chris and I just got back from TN. We spent a week at Celebrate Santa. A Santa Claus convention with over 200 Santas. It was so much fun. And our first trip with out the kids: Much needed! :D

So happy to be home! Started Handing out souvenirs. I think my favorite was a magnate that Chris picked out for Rose. Just a simple one: "Beware of Attack Moose". To understand how funny this is, you'd have to know that one of Chris's nicknames for Rose is 'Baby Moose'. I have no idea where it came from but it has stuck.

We also returned with some more novelty type gifts for my in-laws. My father-in-law received a pair of socks. One sock says "Tom's Sock" the other said "Tom's other sock" I couldn't pass it up. Chris picked out a tee shirt to honor his brother, Joe, on becoming an Eagle Scout. It has silhouette of hikers and says "Bring a compass, it's awkward when you have to eat your friends." A little window into the humor between Chris and his brothers.
